Story
Maple trees in deep red cluster above a flowing stream, with figures moving along a path near traditional wooden structures set against rising mountains. The composition captures autumn's color against the stillness of the architecture and water below. This color woodblock print, titled Autumn at Tsutenkyo, was created in 1924. Its maker, Miki Suizan (1887–1957), worked as a painter and printmaker within Japan.
