Story
Three women in bright kimono stroll along a hillside trail, cherry blossoms arching above them as a blue river valley stretches below. The scene captures a quiet spring outing on the slopes of Mt. Arashi. Made as a color woodblock print in 1924, the work came to the Toledo Museum of Art as a gift from Hubert D. Bennett. Its creator, Miki Suizan (1887–1957), worked as a painter and printmaker in Japan.
