A Pitcher of Flowers

Story

A ceramic pitcher, brown in tone, holds a cluster of red, yellow, and blue blossoms, set against a dark backdrop and resting on a pale surface. The vessel anchors the composition while the blooms spread outward in loose clusters of color. Odilon Redon (1840–1916), a French artist associated with Symbolism, worked across drawing, graphic art, and lithography, and is also known for Les Yeux clos.

Where it works

Warm-toned artwork suited to dining rooms and dens, and to hotel guest rooms, in a vertical format.
