After The Flood

Story

Geometric shapes and crisscrossing lines fill the composition, rendered in earthy brown, tan, blue, purple, and green, arranged in an abstract pattern across the surface. The work, titled After The Flood, was created by Paul Klee in 1936 and is held at the Beyeler Foundation. Klee, a German-Swiss artist (1879–1940), worked within the Bauhaus movement, blending abstraction with expressive color and form.

Where it works

Suited to dens and media rooms, and to hotel guest rooms, in a horizontal format.
