Story
A stylized flower rises from a terracotta pot, its abstract petals arranged like a geometric face, rendered in muted blues, reds, and earthy tones. The piece is an oil painting completed in 1922 by Paul Klee (1879–1940), a German-Swiss artist linked to the Bauhaus and to Expressionism. It entered the Yale University Art Gallery as a gift from the Collection Société Anonyme.
