Story
A single stylized blossom sits at the center, its petals formed from concentric rings of coral pink, rising on a yellow-green stem against a striped background of muted tones. Paul Klee made this watercolor with pen and black ink on tan paper in 1934. Klee, German-Swiss, worked within Bauhaus and Expressionism circles, and the piece now belongs to the Columbus Museum of Art, received as a gift to the museum.
