Pink Clouds, Antibes

Story

A single sailboat drifts across calm water, its sail catching light beneath clouds tinted pink and yellow. The sky's warm hues contrast gently with soft blue and green tones spread across the scene, built from countless small dabs of color. The piece is titled Pink Clouds, Antibes, created by Paul Signac (1863–1935), a French painter associated with pointillism, a technique relying on tiny distinct dots of pigment.

Where it works

Pastel artwork suited to living rooms and bedrooms, and to hotel guest rooms, in a horizontal format.
