Festa

Story

A packed city street comes alive with celebration, its tenement facades painted in bright hues beneath a decorated archway, while a blue night sky stretches above a crowd dressed in vivid colors. The scene, titled Festa, was painted in oil in 1957. Ralph Fasanella (1914–1997), an American painter and trade unionist, also created the notable work Subway Riders.
