Otero's House

Story

A pale yellow house trimmed in green stands with its slate roof catching light, ringed by leafless trees, a blue fence, and nearby buildings under a glowing yellow sky. The scene feels quiet and residential, almost suspended in stillness. Ralph Fasanella painted this oil work titled Otero's House in 1975. An American painter and trade unionist, he is also known for his piece Subway Riders.
