The Persian Cyclamen

Story

Pale cyclamen blossoms rise on dark red stems above patterned green leaves, sheltered beneath a towering tree. Mountains and a small village appear in the distance. Robert John Thornton created this coloured plate in 1799, using aquatint, stipple, and line engraving.
