Story

Nine circular forms, rendered as concentric rings in brown and white, repeat across a grid of three rows and three columns. Beneath them, a geometric field of gold and red fills the remaining space, giving the composition a steady, patterned rhythm. The piece was made with acrylic in 1990. Ronnie Tjampitjinpa, an Australian First Nation painter born in 1943 and who died in 2023, created this work.
