Story

A cluster of women in refined dress stand together on a boat, close to nude figures draped in light fabric, all painted in muted greens, whites, and earthy hues. The composition suggests a quiet moment spent near water among the group. The piece is rendered in oil and held at the Art Gallery of New South Wales. Rupert Bunny (1864–1947) was an Australian painter, also known for Après le bain.
