Story

Rings of rust-red and cream dots spread outward from a single central point, each layer tightening around the next in a steady rhythm. Surrounding this core, a field of yellow-green dots fills the remaining space, giving the composition a glowing, textured backdrop. The piece was made with acrylic in 1984. Uta Uta Tjangala, who lived from 1926 to 1990, worked as a painter in Australia.
