Story

A pale yellow house with green shutters rises beyond a low stone wall, surrounded by golden wheat dotted with red blossoms, under a soft greenish sky. Vincent van Gogh painted this scene in oil in 1888. The National Gallery of Art holds it through the Ailsa Mellon Bruce Collection.
