Story

Stacked bands in blue, yellow, red, and white stretch across the canvas, each one filled with dense, repeating patterns that build a rhythmic surface. Yulyurlu Lorna Napurrurla Fencer made this piece using synthetic polymer paint in 1997. The National Gallery of Victoria acquired it through a purchased fund.
