1. About Artériel

Artériel is a publisher and distributor of premium fine art reproductions, custom framing, and related services for residential, commercial, hospitality, healthcare, and interior design markets.

Our collections include artwork licensed from artists, estates, museums, galleries, photographers, and other authorized rights holders.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using this website, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal authority to enter into this agreement.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our website.

3. Products & Services

Artériel produces made-to-order artwork including:

• Fine art paper reproductions
• Canvas reproductions
• Custom framing
• Designer collections
• Trade and commercial projects
• Custom artwork programs
• Digital asset and licensing services (where applicable)

Because each piece is individually produced, slight variations in color, grain, texture, and framing materials may occur.

These variations are considered part of the handcrafted nature of our products.

4. Product Images & Color Accuracy

We make every effort to display artwork and frame finishes accurately.

However:

• Monitor settings vary.
• Device screens reproduce color differently.
• Natural wood mouldings have unique grain and color variations.

Actual products may vary slightly from what appears on screen.

5. Made-to-Order Production

Unless otherwise noted, every Artériel product is manufactured specifically for your order.

Production typically begins shortly after an order is placed.

Because of this:

• Orders cannot always be modified once production has begun.
• Lead times vary depending upon product type.
• Custom and trade orders may require additional production time.

6. Pricing

Prices are displayed in the applicable currency shown on the website.

Artériel reserves the right to change prices without notice.

Pricing errors may occasionally occur. If an obvious pricing error is discovered, we reserve the right to cancel the order prior to shipment and provide a full refund.

7. Payment

Payment is due at the time of purchase unless otherwise agreed in writing for approved trade or commercial accounts.

We accept major credit cards and other payment methods displayed during checkout.

8. Trade Accounts

Approved trade professionals may receive:

• Trade pricing
• Commercial quotations
• Project management
• Volume discounts

Trade discounts may not be combined with retail promotions unless specifically authorized.

9. Intellectual Property

All artwork displayed by Artériel remains the intellectual property of the respective artist, estate, museum, gallery, photographer, or copyright owner.

The purchase of a reproduction does not transfer copyright ownership.

Customers may not:

• reproduce artwork
• scan artwork
• resell digital files
• reproduce images commercially
• modify licensed artwork for commercial use

without written permission from the copyright owner.

10. Ethical Licensing

Artériel is committed to ethical art publishing.

Where applicable, royalties are paid to artists, estates, museums, galleries, photographers, and rights holders in accordance with licensing agreements.

Our reproductions are produced only under appropriate authorization.

11. User Content

If you provide images or artwork for custom printing, you represent that:

• you own the copyright; or
• you have permission from the copyright owner.

You agree to indemnify Artériel against any copyright infringement claims arising from materials you provide.

12. Shipping

Estimated delivery dates are provided as a guide only.

Shipping times may vary due to:

• production schedules
• weather
• customs clearance
• carrier delays
• supply chain interruptions

Risk of loss transfers to the purchaser upon delivery by the carrier.

13. Damaged Shipments

If your artwork arrives damaged, please notify us within 7 calendar days of delivery.

We may request photographs of:

• packaging
• shipping labels
• damaged artwork

Approved claims will be repaired or replaced at no cost.

14. Returns

Please refer to our Return & Refund Policy.

Because every artwork is produced specifically for each customer, most products cannot be returned except in cases of manufacturing defects or shipping damage.

15. Warranty

Artériel warrants that products will be free from manufacturing defects upon delivery.

This warranty does not cover:

• misuse
• improper installation
• accidental damage
• normal aging
• environmental conditions
• exposure to excessive moisture or sunlight

16. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Artériel's liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the affected product.

We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or website.

17. Website Content

All text, photography, graphics, logos, designs, product descriptions, and website content are owned by Artériel or used under license.

No content may be copied or reproduced without written permission.

18. Privacy

Your use of our website is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

We may update these Terms from time to time.

The most current version will always be available on our website.

Continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of any revised Terms.

20. Design Professional Services

Artériel provides artwork and framing products but does not provide architectural, engineering, or interior design services. Designers remain responsible for final product selection, sizing, installation, and code compliance.

21. Commercial Project Variations

For large commercial projects, note that natural materials, handcrafted frames, and multiple production runs may result in minor variations in color, wood grain, or finish. These are considered inherent characteristics rather than defect.

22. Sustainability Commitment

Artériel strives to source responsibly, minimize waste through made-to-order production, and continually improve sustainable practices where feasible.

23. Artist Integrity

Artériel is committed to preserving the integrity of the original artwork. We do not alter an artist's work beyond sizing, cropping authorized by the rights holder, or adjustments necessary for faithful reproduction. When required, all modifications are made in accordance with licensing agreements and with respect for the artist's creative intent.

24. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any legal proceedings shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in King County, WA, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
