Story

An iceberg rises in shades of blue, white, and green, with a small group of penguins perched along its upper edge. The composition captures the chill of the icy mass against softer washes of color surrounding it. This watercolor on paper was created in 2008 by Alexis Rockman, an American painter born in 1962, whose work has been associated with pop art.
