Story

A young girl's face turns slightly to the side, her long wavy hair falling loosely as the artist captures her features with careful, fine lines on aged paper. The drawing is rendered in silverpoint, created in 1483. It is the work of Leonardo da Vinci (1452–1519), an Italian artist associated with the High Renaissance and the broader Renaissance, celebrated for the painting Adoration of the Magi.
