Story

A nude man stands with arms and legs spread, his form overlapping both a circle and a square drawn on worn, pale paper, with handwritten brown notes surrounding him. The drawing was made in 1490 using pen and ink with wash over metalpoint on paper. Leonardo da Vinci (1452–1519), an Italian artist associated with the Renaissance and High Renaissance, also worked as an anatomist and architect, and created the Adoration of the Magi.
