Large fields of saturated color dominate these works, with soft-edged blocks of orange, yellow and deep red that seem to hover against their backgrounds. The mood stays quiet and meditative, built from broad flat planes rather than detail or line. One quieter landscape sits among them, but the emphasis throughout remains on color itself as subject.
